As a business leader how often do you get the chance to explore relevant business topics with fellow decision-makers and discover new ideas? Probably not often enough.
What is Executive Lunch & Learn?
You may have heard of educational opportunities for staff under the heading of ‘toolbox talk’, ‘brown bag session’ or ‘lunch and learn’. Maybe your own team already participate in those types of events? But how often do you, as the business owner, CEO, GM or other leadership role, have the chance to participate in a practical peer-level learning experience of your own?
Strategies, tools and the experience of others
The purpose of every Executive Lunch & Learn is to address an important topic related to business management and/or business growth, and present a snapshot of some practical strategies or tools you can be using right now to improve results. Part of the session involves each participant sharing their own views and experiences as we know there are valuable nuggets to be found in each others experience.
Plus you enjoy a quality lunch and beverages while expanding your own network of fellow business leaders.
Executive Lunch & Learn is a sales free zone
Just so you don’t worry about it, there is nothing for sale at Executive Lunch & Learn events. The topics are not sales spiels in disguise. There is no pressure to commit to anything… except to your own participation.
This is not a typical ‘networking’ event
Yes, you will meet other business leaders. But this is not the usual awkward business networking event. We don’t expect you to ‘network’, and you aren’t expected to ‘do business’ with the people you meet. But we do hope you like them! Just come along and be yourself.
Why do we do this?
Executive Lunch & Learn is part of our general educational approach to doing business. We regularly publish practical information and guides, and hold events such as this to help business leaders achieve their goals. Over our combined 30+ years of working with business owners and managers we’ve seen plenty of leaders who would really benefit from having a regular opportunity to pause, take on board some useful insights, and think about opportunities ahead of them.
That’s what Executive Lunch & Learn is for.
Should you join us?
To ensure conversation at each Executive Lunch & Learn is at a suitable level, we do require that all participants are in leadership positions and their business has 10 or more employees. Typically, attendees would be in roles such as:
- General Manager
- Managing Director
- Business owner
- or functional managers from Sales, Production, Human Resources etc. who lead their own team
This ensures everyone is able to appreciate the nature of the topics being addressed and are able to add value to each other.
Small groups for maximum interaction
Because we run these events as interactive experiences where you actively learn, share your insights and hear from other experienced business owners, we limit the number of places to about 12 for each Executive Lunch & Learn.
We are sincere when we suggest you book early to secure your seat.
Professional development for business leaders
Each event runs for 90-minutes with arrival at 12.15pm for pre-lunch drinks and greetings, ready to start at 12.30pm, and wraps up at 2.00pm. Registration includes a choice of delicious plated meal and beverages.
